This project is about making a play-learn activity for 10 - 12 years old secondary school-going children. These days, technology plays a significant role in the schooling, learning, and living of children. Various interactive platforms, such as tablets and toolkits, are used in schools and at home. However, they are often designed to introduce new play practices for serving predefined learning purposes. In this exploratory design project, we are interested in designing a reliable digital intuitive platform for children. This would enable children to play and learn together in school or the home. It can also be made part of a science museum.
The project attempts to build a digital Application and intuitive design intervention for 'Fraction teaching aid' in the traditional classroom learning process, which can be later on used to support a multitude of such activities for children. It is based on play and learns the theory. The solution's digital and intuitiveness is considered an essential aspect of creating an engaging environment for children.
