Khari Baoli is Asia's largest wholesale spice market. At present, the street of Khari Baoli has a congested and busy market that has shops on both sides, selling spices, nuts and herbs. It is a unique experience to view the whole process of loading (and unloading), carrying huge sacks of items, shopkeepers busy in dealing with the customers and weary laborers resting and chatting aloud. It is strictly advised to wear a mask or tie a cloth if you are visiting this area for the first time as the smell of spices may lead to excessive sneezing or allergy.
