Tools and Raw Materials
Tools and raw materials used for Sponge Banana are as follows:
| • Scissors | - Used to cut wires, thread and cloth while making the craft. |
| • Thread | - Used to tie ends of sponge or stalking cloth. |
| • Sponge | - It is used to give shape of bud and banana fruit. Here, yellow and pink colour sponge sheets are used. |
| • Markers | - Used to mark the tip of the Banana fruit on the sponge. |
| • Binding wire | - Used as a armature for the craft. |
| • Waste cloth | - Used as filling for the bud and plant. |
| • Stalking cloth | - Used as outermost cloth layer to cover the sponge. |
| • Cellophane tape | - Bud of the banana plant is fixed with binding wire using cellophane tape. |
