This poster was made for the film Teen Kanya. Rabindranath Tagore's short stories served as the inspiration for Satyajit Ray's 1961 Bengali anthology film Teen Kanya, which was released in India. The film's original Indian release included three storylines, and the title literally translates to "Three Girls." The second story wasn't included in the film's worldwide release, which only included two. Two Daughters was the name of the 1997 VHS release of this version. However, all three movies are now included on a single DVD disc. Teen Kanya's international release was archived by the Academy Film Archive in 1996.
