    There is a peaceful coexistence of Buddhism and Islam in Ladakh. There are few Hindus, mostly from Bihar, who have migrated to Ladakh.
    The region is a major tourist destination for people across the world and India as well. The beauty of Ladakh endures the tourist population to stay back for months and years and be the part of the cohesive community.
