Introduction

This four-armed and three-eyed figure of Nandikesvara (a Shaiva image) stands on a circular pedestal. The front right and left hands are joined in anjali-mudra; the rear right hands hold the parasu (axe) between the first and second fingers; the rear left hand supports the mriga (antelope) on the tip of the first and second fingers.
