This poster was made for the 1976 Indian Kannada film Baalu Jenu, directed by Balan and Kunigal Nagabhushan together. The movie was a remake of Mayangukiral Oru Maadhu from the year 1976 in Tamil. Rajinikanth, Pandari Bai, Gangadhar, Ramgopal, Udaya Chandrika, and Aarathi appear in the movie. In Baalu Jenu, a married woman battles a relentless blackmailer who wants to demand money from her in order to keep silent about a one-night affair she had in college and keep it a secret from her husband. It was a commercial success.
