This poster was made for the 1938 Indian Tamil film Anaadhai Penn, directed by R. Prakash. M. K. Radha and T. A. Sundarambal both appear in the movie. P. U. Chinnappa, a rising star at the time, played a villain. Kothamangalam Subbu was chosen for a humorous part. The movie is based on Vai. Mu. Kothainayaki Ammal's novel of the same name.
