Alam Ara is a 1931 Indian Hindustani-language historical fantasy film directed and produced by Ardeshir Irani. It was a love story between a prince and a gypsy girl. The film had a lot of firsts in it. It was the first talkie to be made and released in India. It introduced the concept of music and it also gave India its first playback singer in the form of Wazir Mohammed Khan.

This is an advertisement in The Times of India of 25th May 1912 announcing the screening of Shree Pundalik. Shree Pundalik, was released on 18 May 1912, which was approximately a year before Dadasaheb Phalke released his full-length film, Raja Harishchandra. Despite controversy, as to which film should be considered as the first Indian film in history. Many film fanatics argue that Pundalik does not deserve the honour of being called the first Indian film because it was a photographic recording of a popular Marathi play, and the cameraman was a British national named Johnson and also the film was processed in London. Many people also say that Dadasaheb Phalke's Raja Harishchandra, which was released nearly a year later, is more deserving for being the first Indian film.

Kalyan Khajina is a quasi-historical adventure movie based on the exploits of the 17th century Maratha emperor Shivaji (Bhosle). Most of the film was shot in a cave where Shivaji meets the Subedar of Kalyan (Bhave). This film's dramatic highlight occurs when, inspecting stolen Mughal wealth, Shivaji suddenly confronts not a box-full of coins but a fair maiden (Sultana) emerging from one of the crates full of treasure.

This vintage Bollywood poster was created and produced during the movie's initial release (sometime in the late 1960s) in order to promote it inside a theater. On notice boards located inside the foyers of movie theatres, posters were used as pinups. They were frequently mounted on cardboard and printed on photo paper to make them easier to display. This extremely collectible poster was actually given to a theatre that showed the movie Neel Kamal, making it one of the few that have survived. This vintage Bollywood poster features beautiful hand-painted artwork. This antique hand painted poster, which was originally created by DR Bhosle, one of the greatest and most renowned Bollywood poster artists of his time, showcases his distinctive style of breathtaking realism and simplicity.
